Welcome to BuySmart.lk (“BuySmart”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit or use our website, create an account, place an order, or contact us through the website. By using BuySmart.lk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Eligibility and Account Information

• You must be legally able to enter into a purchase transaction. If you are under 18, use the website only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order or registering an account, and to update it when necessary.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. Products, Availability and Descriptions

• We make reasonable efforts to show product descriptions, images, specifications and availability accurately. Images are illustrative where stated, and actual appearance, packaging or minor details may differ.
• Products are subject to availability. An item shown on the website may become unavailable before an order is processed.
• If a material listing error or stock issue affects your order, we may contact you to clarify the issue, offer an available alternative, or cancel the affected order and arrange any applicable refund.

3. Prices, Fees and Promotions

• Prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR), unless expressly stated otherwise.
• Delivery charges or other applicable fees will be shown or communicated as part of the order process where applicable.
• Prices, promotions and product availability may change. A change will not, by itself, alter an order that we have already accepted, except where correction or cancellation is necessary due to an obvious error or another lawful reason.
• Promotional offers may have additional conditions, eligibility requirements or expiry dates. Offers cannot be combined unless we expressly state otherwise.

4. Orders and Order Acceptance

• Submitting an order is a request to purchase the selected products; it does not automatically mean that the order has been accepted or dispatched.
• We may contact you to verify order details, delivery information or payment. Please check your contact details before submitting an order and respond to reasonable verification requests.
• We may decline, hold or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, information cannot be verified, payment cannot be confirmed, fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected, or delivery cannot reasonably be completed.
• If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any refund due will be handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

5. Payments and Payment Proof

• Use only the payment methods and instructions provided by BuySmart.lk for your order. Do not send payment to an account or person unless the payment instructions have been verified through our official channels.
• If you are asked to upload a payment slip or transaction receipt, make sure the image is clear and relates to the order. Uploading a slip is not, by itself, confirmation that the payment has cleared or that the order has been accepted.
• An order may remain pending while payment is checked. We may request additional information reasonably needed to verify a transaction.
• Do not submit another payment for the same order unless you have checked the payment status with us.

6. Delivery

• We aim to provide delivery across Sri Lanka where service is available. Delivery coverage, charges and estimated timelines may depend on the destination, courier availability and the order.
• Delivery dates and times are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, public holidays, courier delays, transport disruptions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
• Please provide a complete address and a reachable telephone number. You may need to coordinate with the courier to receive the parcel.
• If delivery cannot be completed because the address or contact details are incorrect, the recipient is unavailable, or the parcel is not collected, additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply where lawful and communicated to you.
• If a parcel arrives visibly damaged or an item is missing or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and retain the packaging and relevant evidence so we can review the issue.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Order cancellation, return eligibility, damaged or incorrect products, and refund processing are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Please review that policy before placing an order. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under Sri Lankan law.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or fraudulent orders, upload malicious code, or use the website for any unlawful purpose. We may restrict access or take appropriate action where misuse is reasonably suspected.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including text, branding, logos, graphics, layout and software—belong to BuySmart.lk or the relevant rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Sri Lanka, subject to any mandatory legal rights or procedures that apply.
